Books I Want To Read This Summer!

Hello Readers!

So it is official Summer and the weather in the Netherlands is agreeing with it. I enjoy Summer, as long as I can still function in the heat. So I associate Summer with contemporary books, which is a genre I don’t read that very often. So here are a few contemporaries which I want to read this summer.

Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson

This one speaks the most to me from all of her books, so that is why I plan to start with this one. And to be honest that is probably because of Kelly Clarkson’s song, which was also the inspiration for the title.

Holding Up The Universe by Jennifer Niven

This is one of the books on my Top 18 Books To Read In 2018 and so far I haven’t read that many books from that list. So I will be putting one of those on here and I believe that this is the only contemporary on that list.

Noteworthy by Riley Redgate

This novel combines two things that I love: Music and Mulan. And so far I have only heard great things about this book, so I am pretty excited to get to this soon.

I think I will keep it with these three, I might push myself too much if I put one more on this list, haha.

What books do you want to read this summer?

  1. Since You’ve Been Gone and Noteworthy are on my list also! I’ve been meaning to read both of those forever. Have you read Riley Redgate’s (the author of Noteworthy) first book, Seven Ways We Lie? It is also excellent. Enjoy 🙂
