So today I am going to talk about the goals I have set for myself in 2021. The goals I made in 2020 were very big and of course I couldn’t complete them because COVID happened. And overall 2020 wasn’t my best year. So far 2021 has started out pretty well for me personal, so I have high hopes for 2021 and the things I will be able to achieve.
I have planned my goals a bit different from the other years, I have 4 over arching goals and under them I have multiple goals which will help me achieve them. So I hope this method works out alright for me. So let’s get into them!
- Get more healthy
I have never been quite a health person, I don’t really do exercise at all and I have a tendency of eating very unhealthy when I am emotional, which I was a lot in 2020. Next to that I hope to decrease the amount of antidepressiva I take on a daily basis, of course I’ll always do consult my psychiatrist first. But I hope by getting more healthy mentally and physically, the chance of me getting into another depressive episode is hopefully slimmer.
So the goals I have for this over arching goal are:
- Eat healthier
- Exercise 3-5 times a week
- Loss 10 kg
- Start journaling
- Create a sustainable morning and evening routine
2. Find a job
So I actually almost completed this goals, which I am very happy about, there is one more thing I need to do out of the goals and I need to actually start working. So I can still achieve some things within this goal.
So the goals are:
- Finish last exam
- Apply for jobs
3. Financial stability
So I have been a college student for quite some time, which means that I haven’t earned that much money as a student since it either went to my book addiction, monthly expenses or my college. Now that I have a job and I am done with college, I can start creating some financial stability for myself. With these goals:
- pay off debt
- Save for an emergency fund
- Save for monthly/yearly expenses
4. Grow Debbie’s Library
I have been very neglecting my blog and all the other social media I have created for Debbie’s Library, dual to stress and college taking a lot of my time. Now I hope to stop that and put more time and effort in this blog. I miss it and I love doing it!
- Focus on blog and YouTube
- Become consistent with content
- Best my best stats
So those are the goals I have set for myself in 2021, I tried to make them goals which I can achieve no matter what COVID does, these are things only I can influence and only I need to put the time and effort into it.
I would love to hear if you have any goals for 2021, maybe some of your bookish goals. I do plan on doing a half year check in, to see where I stand with these goals and maybe change some or add another one.
