5 Series to finish in 2021

Hello Readers!

Today I am going to talk about the series I hope to finish in 2021, either they ended in 2020 (or before) or they will end in 2021. I am really bad at keeping up with series and finishing series, which is kind of weird since ideally if I love a book or characters I want a series for that book.

So here are the series I WILL finish this year, because I really loved the first book and I want more time with the characters I loved when I first read the books.

The Extinction Trails by S.M. Wilson

I have read the first book a few years ago and I really enjoyed reading it, but ever since then I haven’t picked up the second book. I do own the rest of the series, but I just haven’t continued it. So my plan for now is to reread the first book and then binge read the rest of the series.

The Davaed Trilogy by S.A. Chakraborty

With this series, it is the exact situation as with the Extinction Trails. I loved the first book and I own the rest of the series, I just haven’t continued, though I do remember what happened in the first book. So I will just get started on the second book and love the rest of the series.

The Poppy War by R.F. Kuang

I haven’t started this series yet, but I feel it in my bones that I will love this series. So I already own the whole series and I am ready for it to consume my life and attention and leave me in a deep black hole when I finish it.

Crown of Feathers by Nicki Pau Preto

I loved the first book in this series and I got the second one for Christmas, so I am ready to dive into that one very soon. And according to Goodreads the third and final book will be released later on this year, which I will pre-order once my book buying ban allows it.

An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir

I read the first book in this series at the end of 2020 and I absolutely felt in love with it, so ever since then I got the whole series, so I can read them all back to back. I hope that the rest of the series lives up to the first book. I am also very happy that the series is done, so that I don’t have to wait for it to finish.

Have you read any of these series, how did you like them? Are there any series you would like to finish this year?
